Young: "We could've completed the comeback, but we're still on track"

MADRID - “There’s a lot of disappointment in the dressing room because we came back from two goals down. We managed to get back into the game and we had the chances to go in front and complete the comeback. Obviously, we’re disappointed but we need to take the positives from this game and dry to do better in the game in Milan.” Speaking to Inter TV, Ashley Young summed up the game against Real Madrid.

The Inter full-back was not concerned with the situation in the group and pointed out the final three games to ensure qualification: “We’re absolutely on the right track. There’s no reason to believe otherwise. It won’t be easy, but we have the potential to turn this around and get the points necessary to qualify from the group.”

“Now, we go into a difficult game against Atalanta this weekend. We want to do all we can to get the three points and get back to winning ways. Then we have the international break, in which we hope to recover a bit of energy.”
