The captain's thoughts on the loss at Real Madrid in the Champions League

MADRID - Nerazzurri captain Samir Handanovic spoke to the media following the 3-2 away defeat at Real Madrid. “We got back into the game and could have won it also. On the pitch, from the goal, I felt that we had two big chances but we didn’t make the most of them. Individual moments made the difference and they were better in the box and more ruthless. You can still find something positive from defeats but we need to be more clinical because this isn’t the first time that we felt we could have won but we're lacking something."

“In terms of the group, it’s all still open but we obviously know that we need to get a lot more points in the final three matches.”
