MILANO - Samir Handanovic has just finished his eighth season at Inter. Born in 1984, the Slovenian goalkeeper joined the Nerazzurri in 2012, and since then, he has made 342 appearances for the Club, reaching an important milestone in Serie A: with 478 outings under his belt in our league, Handanovic has made more appearances than any other foreign goalkeeper in Serie A; moreover, he has now played more matches in the Italian top flight than Giacinto Facchetti. Currently, Handanovic is sitting in nineteenth place in the all-time rankings for Serie A appearances.

This season, Handanovic has appeared in 48 of the Nerazzurri’s 54 matches, amounting to a total of 4585 minutes on the pitch, more than anyone else (for more information, click here).
