Inter Voice Hall of Fame special, the answers

MILAN – In our fourth episode of the Inter Voice Hall of Fame special launched on Inter’s social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), we challenged you to guess four players by listening to clips of their voices, all four are candidates for the 2020 Hall of Fame and you can vote here inter.it/HOF.

Here are the answers:

1 – CRUZ

‘El Jardinero’, Julio Cruz, was the first player in today’s Inter Voice quiz, a special edition dedicated to the candidates of the 2020 Hall of Fame. He arrived at Inter in the summer of 2003 and wore the Nerazzurri shirt until 2009, making 195 appearances, scoring 75 goals and winning four league titles, two Coppa Italia trophies and three Italian Super Cups during that time. In the clip, Cruz describes Inter’s 2007/08 team that went on to win the Club’s 16th Scudetto.

The second player in today’s quiz is one of the defenders nominated for the Hall of Fame, Riccardo Ferri. The ex-Nerazzurri player recalls his emotions from Sporting Lisbon vs. Inter in the UEFA Cup 1990/91 semi-final first leg. After this match ended 0-0, Trapattoni’s team went on to win the return leg at San Siro thanks to goals from Matthaus and Klinsmann before then beating Roma in the final to lift the trophy.

The third answer of today’s Inter Voice quiz is Hernan Crespo. In the clip, the Argentine recalls a win in the Champions League on 12 November 2002 that was sealed thanks to his brace: two wonderful headers after brilliant crosses from Di Biagio and Vieri.

The final answer of the quiz is Evaristo Beccalossi, adored by Inter fans for his ingenuity on the pitch and his unpredictable left foot. In the clip, Becca was preparing for the last of his six seasons at Inter, in which he made 216 appearances, scored 37 goals and won one Scudetto and one Coppa Italia.
