Here are the solutions:
1 – CHRISTIAN VIERI
The first player from today’s Inter Voice quiz dedicated to our 2020 Hall of Fame candidates is Christian Vieri. He was speaking after the Nerazzurri’s semi-final second-leg Coppa Italia clash against Cagliari, during which he played a vital role: he bagged a brace and then set up Martins to make it 3-1 as the Nerazzurri made it through to the final, where they’d emerge victorious in their two-legged tie against Roma.
2 – GIUSEPPE BERGOMI
The second voice belongs to Beppe Bergomi, who was talking about one of the most memorable moments in Inter’s history: the comeback against Aston Villa on 7 November 1990, with goals from Kinsmann, Berti and Bianchi securing a place in the round of 16 of the UEFA Cup. Inter would go on to win the competition that year.
3 – LUIS FIGO
The third voice from today, which is Luis Figo’s, was also recalling a historic moment. On 31 May 2009, the Portuguese man played his final match in the professional game against Atalanta and was given a rapturous send-off by the Club. It was an unforgettable evening for Figo as his teammates wore his No.7 shirt during the pre-match warm-up, while he was also presented with a commemorative silver plate and got to wear Javier Zanetti’s captain’s armband.
4 – GIANLUCA PAGLIUCA
The last Inter Voice today belongs to Gianluca Pagliuca, who made 234 appearances in five seasons for Inter and won the 1997/98 UEFA Cup while at the Club.
