MILAN – Today’s quiz shared on our social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) had a special theme behind it: it’s World Voice Day, and the aim of the quiz was to guess the four Inter players speaking in the short clips!
Here are the answers:
1 – ASHLEY YOUNG
The first “Inter Voice” comes from one of our Nerazzurri wing-backs. Young arrived in January this year, becoming the third English player to don Inter’s shirt over the years after Gerry Hitchens and Paul Ince. Determination has always been a key weapon in our Nerazzurri no.15’s arsenal, allowing him to realise the dream he’s held tenaciously ever since he was a child: becoming a professional footballer.
2 – GODIN
A career constantly on the rise for Diego Godin, the second voice in our quiz. Our Nerazzurri defender, full of experience from his playing days, began his career as an attacker before dropping back to midfield, and these days finds himself in the centre of defence. However, he has by no means lost that eye for goal, just like his childhood idol: the Uruguayan Francescoli.
3 – LUKAKU
Inter in his heart and in his destiny. Romelu Lukaku grew up playing and studying football, forever. Our Belgian striker holds distant memories of Inter, and of the Club’s unforgettable legends, just like Adriano, who he embraced virtually in a live stream on Inter’s Instagram profile. For Lukaku, the best way to prepare for a game is by focusing on the objective and putting in maximum effort in training, in order to always aim for a win.
4 - ESPOSITO
The final voice in today’s quiz was that of Sebastiano Esposito. The moment mentioned came from that unforgettable night for our 17-year-old striker, as on 21 December 2019, aged just 17 years and 172 days, he scored his first goal in Serie A, becoming the second youngest scorer in all of Inter’s history in Serie A after Mario Corso. No one could forget the moment that Lukaku handed him the ball, or the photos of his celebration and the hug he shared with his mother Flavia after the game.
