MILAN – Exactly ten years ago today, after Milito’s goal at San Siro, Inter stepped out for the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. Inter lined up at the Stadio Artemio Franchi with Cordoba and Chivu as our full-backs, Lucio and Materazzi paired at centre-back in front of Julio Cesar; a midfield four saw Maicon on the right and Muntari on the left, with Zanetti and Thiago Motta holding down the middle of the park; up top Eto’o and Balotelli rounded things off. Second-half changes sawMariga, Cambiasso and Milito all come onto the pitch. Our Cameroonian striker’s goal decided the tie, as Thiago Motta chipped it into the box and Eto’o touched it down before smashing home into the roof of the net with his left. Here are the details from the game along with the video of that decisive finish from Samuel Eto’o’s which ten years ago today saw the Nerazzurri secure their spot in the final in Rome.
