Sensi: “An important point”

MILAN - After making his return to the starting eleven in tonight’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta, Stefano Sensi spoke to Inter TV: “They knew that it was going to be a difficult match, we looked to press them high up in the first half but they took control in the second. The team reacted well in the difficult moments, we held our ground all together and we came away with an important point.

“I felt good physically, obviously after a few months without playing you feel it at the end. We faced a side who have caused problems for every team, we’ve learned to soak up pressure over the course of the season and it’s in these moments that we’ve managed to hold down areas on the pitch. Tomorrow we’ll look over our mistakes and what we did well and we’ll continue on our way. We’re happy but it’s not enough, we always want to give more. We can’t get ahead of ourselves because it’s a long season and we want to get to the end in the best way possible.”
