Inter's next fixture will be against Torino on Saturday 23 November

MILAN – It’s now time for the third international break of the season, with Inter finishing the latest batch of games positively with a home victory over Hellas Verona. The Nerazzurri now sit on 31 points after the first twelve Serie A matchdays, a record for Inter in the three-points-for-a-win era after twelve league fixtures.

So far this season, Antonio Conte’s men have been involved in 16 games having played twelve in the league and four in the Champions League. The Nerazzurri’s record up to this point reads as follows: eleven wins, two draws and three defeats. Ahead of Inter’s next game against Torino at 20:45 CET on Saturday 23 November on matchday 13 of the Serie A season, we’ve teamed up with Opta to take a look at the main statistics to come from the league campaign so far.

Inter are the only side to have scored in all of their twelve games up to this point in Serie A. Conte’s men have netted on 26 occasions through ten different players. The Nerazzurri’s top scorer is Romelu Lukaku, who is also the only player in the squad to have scored with his right foot, left foot and head.

Inter have scored five headers, with no other side having scored more or conceded fewer in this manner. As regards goals, the Nerazzurri have scored six from outside the box and ten from dead ball situations – more than any other team in Serie A.

The man defending the Inter goal between the sticks has been Samir Handanovic, who has kept four clean sheets and remained on the pitch throughout, playing 1080 minutes. Two other players have been ever-presents: Skriniar and Brozovic.

The Slovakian defender (802) and Croatian midfielder (890) are the two players who have made the most passes so far this campaign. Not only has Skriniar been in the thick of the action, he’s also been precise: he’s the Nerazzurri man with the highest pass completion rate with 94.4%.
