Spalletti: "The team needs to show consistency"

APPIANOGENTILE - It was time for the usual pre-match press conference today at the Suning Training Centre with Luciano Spalletti ahead of tomorrow’s fixture at the Stadio Franchi against Fiorentina. Luciano Spalletti’s analysis then turned to the conditions of some individuals: "It’s important that all of the players give their all to help the team reach its objectives. Perisic and Nainggolan are in good shape at the moment but it’s not just them. We have lots of games left, everyone will need to make their contribution. Keita’s condition is improving but we need to still wait a few days. I hope that Icardi will be back with us soon. Other players can also score goals. Joao Mario needs to score more, Vecino and Brozovic know where the goal is. Perisic? A player’s secret is their mental strength, their character. Ivan is a player who is doing everything in the right way, he knew how to start again in the correct fashion. Politano? He has great movement and he allows us to get more possession and have men over in the final third. He’s not a penalty box player but if he’s in that position, he can be useful in creating space for his teammates."
