MONTECARLO - The draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo also determined the fixtures for the UEFA Youth League. The Inter Primavera are in Group B alongside Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and PSV Eindhoven just like Luciano Spalletti’s team. After last season’s magnificent adventure that ended at the Round of 16 against Manchester City, Inter’s Primavera are ready to compete again on Europe’s biggest stage in youth football.
Compared to last season when Inter qualified via the Domestic Champions Path, the Nerazzurri are in the competition this time on account of the first team’s results (despite still being the reigning champions of Italy).
The groups are as follows:
Group A: Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Brugge.
Group B: Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, PSV, Inter.
Group C: PSG, Napoli, Liverpool, Red Star Belgrade.
Group D: Lokomotiv Moscow, Porto, Schalke 04, Galatasaray.
Group E: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Ajax,
Group F: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon, Hoffenheim.
Group G: Real Madrid, Roma, CSKA Moscow,
Group H: Juventus, Manchester United, Valencia, Young Boys.
