Torneo 110 anni Inter: Stadio Breda to host the 1st Memorial Pierluigi Casiraghi

MILAN - "Pierluigi Casiraghi was always there, when he wasn’t travelling the world to unearth talent."

It will be that way again on 1 and 2 September when the Stadio Breda will host Inter, Real Madrid, Genoa and Anderlecht. The Nerazzurri have opted to honour Pierluigi Casiraghi with the Under-17 ‘Torneo 110 anni FC Internazionale Milano, 1° Memorial Pierluigi Casiraghi’ competition. It will be the perfect way to commemorate the historic former scout who was always looking for that spark that would make him fall in love with players.

The tournament schedule will see Real Madrid and Anderlecht meet at 11:00 CEST on Saturday 1st September. At 16:00 CEST, it will be time for Andrea Zanchetta’s Inter to take to the pitch against Genoa. The finals will be on Sunday. The third/fourth place match will be at 10:00 CEST before the final for first/second place at 11:45 CEST. After the match, it will be time for the prize ceremony and the presentation of the ‘Pierluigi Casiraghi Award - Best Player’ accolade.
