The former defender who won one Scudetto, one Supercoppa Italiana and one UEFA Cup with the Nerazzurri celebrates turning 58 today
MILAN - Signed from Ascoli in the summer of 1984, he represented Inter for the next seven seasons, becoming a point of reference in the defence. Overall, he made 275 appearances for Inter, scoring 13 goals but he’s best remembered for being a part of the record-breaking Scudetto-winning side of the 1988-89 season along with winning the 1989-90 Supercoppa Italiana and the 1990-91 UEFA Cup.
