Peppino Prisco, the biggest ever Interista

What does it mean to be an Interista and love Inter? It’s a question that we have all asked ourselves at least once as fans: everyone has their own answer, their own memories, their own wild stories of Nerazzurri passion, all of us have an example and a clear, undisputed role model. 

Peppino Prisco was no ordinary fan: Peppino Prisco was the biggest Interista ever to live. His life was “always and only Inter”, he worked under five different presidents. With outstanding wit and irony, he was always capable of firing off a brilliant joke, unexpected, which became unforgettable for all Inter fans.

A symbol of true Interismo, loved by the public, they made him an unmistakable chant: "Ed è la Nord che te lo chiede... Peppino Prisco, facci un gol!".

103 years ago, lawyer Prisco was born: today, he probably would have spent his birthday celebrating only if we had beaten Bayer Leverkusen, making wise comments on the Nerazzaurri performance.

It has been 23 years since Peppino Prisco passed away, two days after his 80th birthday, after a Sunday spent celebrating O Fenômeno’s return to the scoresheet which lit up our away day in Brescia alongside Bobo Vieri.
