Happy Birthday, Lothar!

MILAN - Joining Inter from Bayern Munich with Andy Brehme in the summer of 1988, he spent four unforgettable seasons with the Nerazzurri, where he enjoyed plenty of success with both the team and as an individual. He made 153 appearances for the club in total, scoring 53 goals and putting in countless crucial performances. This spell saw him secure one Scudetto, one UEFA Cup and one Supercoppa Italiana. An all-around midfielder with a modern touch, he had the characteristics of a true leader, all of which were celebrated during Inter's recent 110th anniversary. This ceremony notably saw him inducted into the Nerazzurri Hall of Fame.
