Icardi: "We want to get back to winning on Saturday"

APPIANO GENTILE – Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi celebrated his birthday at the Suning Centre and he also spoke exclusively with Inter TV. “Thanks to everyone, my teammates and the fans who wished me a happy birthday. It's a slightly bitter birthday with how the team is doing at the moment but we hope to get back to winning soon.” 

“I feel good, I'm recovering from this issue with my abductor that has unfortunately kept me out of recent games. My knee is ok, it just took a knock in the first half of the season and then it happened again against Torino but I don't know why it's been written about, it's fine.” 

“The important thing is getting the result that we all want, us players, the staff and fans. We need to start winning again and get used to it again like how we were at the start of the season. From this next match, we need to get backing to winning.” 

“How am I celebrating? At home with family, it's not the right time to organise anything special.”
