There have been a total of 32 Serie A fixtures between Inter and SPAL, the last coming back in March 1968. The Nerazzurri do have a considerable edge over their opponents, as they’ve racked up 22 wins and six draws, losing on just four occasions.

Sunday will also see the first ever clash between LucianoSpalletti and Leonardo Semplici. Spalletti has nearly recored 200 top tier victories (197), while he has also coached more matches in Serie A than any of his current counterparts.
