MILAN - Signed from Barcelona in the summer of 1997 after some historic negotiations, the unforgettable striker had a unique impact on the San Siro and Inter fans alike, making an impression like few others had done before him. At the end of an unforgettable Nerazzurri experience, which concluded in 2002, he had racked up a total of 59 goals in just 99 matches (one memorable one coming in the 1998 UEFA Cup final in Paris).
