"We made some uncharacteristic mistakes out there. We need to bounce straight back after the break"

TURIN - Antonio Candreva was unable to hide his disappointment after Inter were held to a draw by Torino on Saturday night.

The Italy winger scored the Nerazzurri's second of the night to level things up at 2-2 midway through the second half but despite creating a clutch of chances Inter were unable to find a crucial third goal.

"You don't get anywhere with ifs and buts," he rued after the final whistle. "We're gutted because we wanted to keep winning. It's a real shame, especially considering the number of chances we had to take the lead."

The Italian nonetheless admitted that Inter had themselves to blame.

"It's hard to analyse what went wrong right after the game but we conceded two goals we shouldn't have so we need to do better. We made some uncharacteristic mistakes today and this is the result."

"It's a blow because we wanted to win them all. Now we need to bounce straight back after the international break."
