Inter v Genoa stat pack

MILAN –  With the help of our friends at Opta, we've put together a few stats ahead of Sunday's Serie A clash with Ivan Juric's Genoa,

Inter will be seeking their 50th Serie A victory against Genoa in the 99th meeting between these two sides.

The Nerazzurri have lost to Genoa just once in the last 29 games played at San Siro and have scored in each of the last six matches.

Inter - who have won their last three home fixtures in the league – have had more shots than any other Serie A outfit this season. However, Mauro Icardi and Co. will be up against the league's second-best defence.

Icardi will be hoping to extend his hot streak at the Meazza: he's bagged three doubles in his last three home games, against Torino, Crotone and Fiorentina.

It was against Genoa that the Argentine striker broke his Serie A duck back in his Sampdoria days.

Ivan Perisic, Inter's second highest scorer, has proved something of a good-luck charm this season: when he scores, Inter don't lose.

Sunday's game will have a derby feel for former Samp man Eder while Rodrigo Palacio could face his ex-club – and he's already scored three times in six games against them.

Genoa have three former Nerazzurri players among their ranks: Goran Pandev, Nicolas Burdisso and Diego Laxalt.

Ivan Juric meanwhile spent a brief spell at Inter as Gian Piero Gasperini's assistant.

Cristian Ansaldi won't be facing his former employers due to suspension while Lucas Orban is also suspended.
