Serie A title contenders Internazionale look to add another three points on Sunday at Dacia Arena as they travel to face Udinese, who are aiming to end the season on a high.
Internazionale suffered a 2-1 defeat against Bologna at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in their last Serie A match to end an eight-match unbeaten streak, putting them in second place on 72 points. The Nerazzurri are two points behind first-placed Milan. The Nerazzurri lead fifth-placed Roma by 14 points for a spot in the Champions League.
Udinese sit in 12th place on 43 points, having scored 53 goals and conceded 52. Udinese won their last Serie A match 4-0 at Stadio Artemio Franchi against Fiorentina.
The previous Serie A fixture between the teams saw Inter win 2-0 at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in October. Joaquín Correa led the Nerazzurri with two goals, scoring in the 60th and 68th minute.
Inter have got the better of Udinese of late, unbeaten in their last eight Serie A matches (W6 D2 L0). Udinese are looking for their first league win in fixtures between the two clubs since December 2017. The Nerazzurri have outscored the Friulani 15-1 during their unbeaten streak.
Looking at players who have made a difference in 2021/2022, Internazionale's leading attacking threats have been Lautaro Martínez and Edin Dzeko, who have scored 16 and 13 times, respectively. Martínez is tied for third among the league's top scorers in 2021/2022, while Dzeko is tied for seventh.
