Stramaccioni v Donadoni

Roberto Donadoni and Andrea Stramaccioni are pitting their wits against each other for the second time as coaches. In the previous encounter, a Serie A match played last May, the Parma manager came out on top and claimed a 3-1 victory.

Stramaccioni against Parma

Andrea Stramaccioni has only faced Parma once before: at the Stadio Tardini on 2 May this year. The hosts ran out 3-1 winners.

Donadoni and Inter

Roberto Donadoni is taking on Inter for the seventh time in his coaching career. There has yet to be a draw and the home side has always won: 2 victories for Donadoni's teams and 4 for the Nerazzurri. The current Parma coach suffered his heaviest defeat at the hands of Inter: on 16 October 2005, his Livorno were beaten 5-0 in a Serie A clash at the San Siro.

Mirante v Palacio

Antonio Mirante has had more goals put past him by Inter forward Palacio than any other player during his professional career: 7 out of the 297 times he's picked the ball out of the net. The reverse statistic is also true: Mirante is the keeper whom Palacio has scored against most often. The Parma custodian is thus three goals short of letting in his 300th career goal. His first came on 18 August 2004 when he was keeping goal for Crotone: it was a Coppa Italia match and Nigro scored against him in the 64th minute of a 1-1 draw.

Inter's last 10 away trips in Serie A: no draws, always scoring

Inter haven't drawn an away game in Serie A since 22 April, when they played out a goalless stalemate at Fiorentina. In the ten matches since then, the Nerazzurri have recorded 7 wins and 3 defeats and have always scored at least once, hitting the target 21 times in total.

Parma unbeaten at home in 8 months

The last time Parma lost a competitive fixture at home was on 17 March, at the hands of AC Milan (0-2). In the eleven home encounters since then Parma have accumulated a massive 27 points out of a possible 33 thanks to 8 wins and 3 draws. Parma are one of only three Serie A teams still unbeaten at home in the league this season, along with Napoli and Fiorentina.
