Can you give us an update on the recently concluded Shareholders' Meeting?

"We carried out the work in an atmosphere of great affection and calm. Amendments were made to some articles in the Articles of Association. Furthermore, the entry of three people into the Board of Directors was ratified: Max Catanese, our Chief of Staff, and two important figures, namely Claudia D'Arpizio and Diego Gigliani. They've been appointed on the recommendation of the Ownership to provide further expertise and professionalism as we look to achieve our objectives."

Now that Inter are at the top of the table, what is the approach to the Napoli match going to be? Who is under more pressure now?

"This is a transitional moment; there are still many points up for grabs from now until the end of the season. Our team are leading the way in Italy right now: we're first in the league and the only Italian team still in the running in the Champions League. Furthermore, we're still in the Coppa Italia. This is a source of pride for us, and these are our objectives. This season one of the most balanced in recent years. There are three teams that are strong contenders, and it'll be an exciting finish to the season. In keeping with our DNA, our aim is to play a leading role until the end."

In recent years, we've seen Inter make targeted signings. Given the competition, can we expect to see a more aggressive approach in the future?

"We can’t speak of a revolution. We're proud of the work done by the entire group. Over the years, we've always added important pieces. We've built a solid core of Italians, and then we’ve sought professionals who could add experience. We're already focused on the future, monitoring situations. Contrary to the criticism we’ve received, the fact we maintained almost the entire squad heading into the current season means that we’ve worked well, and we are confident in the additions we’ve made. Our guiding model will be slightly adjusted: the ownership's philosophy is to invest in young players who will not only be valuable assets for the future but also provide immediate value to the team on a technical level."

Can investments be made in young players without letting members of the squad go?

"I've come to realise that all Italian clubs can't avoid player trading, in other words making the most of the right profits to achieve economic and financial sustainability. We can invest and aren't in a position where we're forced to sell, but we can't exclude some outgoing operations as we look to place the right amount of importance on the future squad and balance the numbers from a financial perspective."

"We shouldn't expect some kind of revolution. The average age in Europe has decreased, so it’s logical and right for us to head in that direction as well. Our more experienced players won’t be excluded, quite the opposite. They’ve played a fundamental role in our triumphs, so we’ll evaluate all positions. Changing our model doesn’t change our goals. Winning is in our DNA, and we'll participate in all competitions with the aim of going very far. Being ambitious doesn't mean we're arrogant, but there is self-confidence following everything we've achieved. We're building on what we've done."

Does the new transfer market model involve any risks?

"It won’t be a radical change, but it does change the approach to the transfer market a bit. In recent years, we've relied on free agents, but we will make a few key signings, and some ideas are already being worked on. The way to rejuvenate the squad is to make investments. We want to add value to the squad and the Club. Oaktree has given us this opportunity: we'll work in harmony with the ownership, also aware that the current squad would be competitive next season, too."

Is it right to demand a high standard of refereeing?

U23项目进展如何？

“我可以正式宣布，我们正在构建U23梯队的足见模式，我们将会向足协提出申请，预计不会遇到阻碍。这意味着在2025/2026赛季，我们将拥有一支U23球队。通常情况下，球队的主场将会设在蒙扎，我们正于管理团队共同组建这支球队，并评估阵容和教练组的模式。”

保持成功有多困难？

“保持成功始终困难。我们上赛季赢得了意甲联赛冠军，目前也排名联赛第一。但想要复刻之前的成功，真的相当困难。我们的目标就是坚持竞争到最后一刻，即便其他球队的最终排名超过我们，我们也会致以祝贺。”

你能介绍一下（新）球场的最新情况吗？

“球场项目是所有者（橡树资本）的核心议题。如果没有高标准的设施，我们将很难缩小与欧洲顶级俱乐部在收入、球迷体验以及配套服务方面的差距。橡树资本高度重视这一项目，因为新球场将会显著提升俱乐部价值。我们也正在与AC米兰协作，确保圣西罗区域成为新球场项目的最终选址。下一步，我们将全力推进对现有圣西罗区域及周边地块的收购方案。”

你是否会打算进一步延长西蒙尼-因扎吉的合同？

“我们还没有讨论过，我们和他有着非常良好的关系，做到了真正融为一体，成为一个紧密的团队。当一切进展都很顺利的时候，没有理由用消极的态度去剖析现状。这是我的个人观点，也是我们所有人的共识——西蒙尼-因扎吉教练的时代远未结束，我们非常自豪可以和他一起前行。”
