Career Story
Sofie Junge Pedersen was born in Aarhus, Denmark, on 24 April 1992.
A midfielder of substance and experience, Pedersen started playing at the age of seven in the youth ranks of BMI, the Aarhus club, before moving to VSK Aarhus at the age of 14. There he played for three seasons, soon making his first-team debut: he then moved to Fortuna Hjørring, where he won a Danish championship in 2014.
In 2015 he moved to Rosengård, Sweden, for his first experience outside Denmark, during which he won another championship. Two years later he flew to Spain, to Levante, where he played in the 2017/18 season: after a brief experience with Swedish side Vittsjö GIK, Pedersen arrived in Italy, at Juventus, in 2018. In bianconero he plays for five seasons in which he wins 10 trophies, before moving to Inter in the summer of 2023.
Throughout his career Pedersen has worn the jersey of all of Denmark's youth national teams, playing for U16, U17, U19 and U23. With the senior national team Pedersen played 86 matches, scoring seven goals.
