Career Story
Irene Santi was born in Milan on 8 October 1999. An experienced central midfielder, especially in the defensive phase.
Irene started playing at the age of 5, wearing the A.C. Cernusco jersey, a team with which she remained until 2011, when she began her adventure with ASD Inter Femminile Milano. Here he plays in all youth categories, until he reaches the first team. In the summer of 2018, Inter took over the club's sporting title and Irene continued her growth with the Nerazzurri jersey. She won the Serie B championship last season and in November 2019 she officially made her Serie A debut in the Nerazzurri shirt. After a season on loan at Hellas Verona, Santi returns to Inter in July 2021.
In the national team, he makes his debut with the U19 shirt in the 2018 European Championship, making his debut in the first league game. She is a starter with the U23 and is named among the call-ups for the 2019 Universiade in Naples.
