Career Story
Born on May 7, 1991, Elisa Bartoli is a highly experienced and reliable full-back.
She developed her football skills with Roma Calcio Femminile, where she played from 2006 to 2012, progressing from Serie B to Serie A over her first three years. She then moved to Sardinia to join Torres, where she won the league title in her first season (2012/13) as well as two Italian Super Cups. After three years, she transferred to Mozzanica, where she played in the 2015/16 season, before moving to Fiorentina. With the Viola, she won two Coppa Italia titles and the 2016/17 league championship. In 2018, she returned to Roma, becoming the club's first-ever captain. In 2021, she won another Coppa Italia, and in the following 2021/22 season, she helped Roma qualify for the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history. After winning the Super Cup in 2022, in her fifth season in the capital, Bartoli scored her first European goal and won Roma’s first-ever league title. In the 2023/24 season, Roma repeated their success by winning the league and the Coppa Italia. Following this double triumph, she joined Inter in the summer of 2024.
After winning a UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship, Elisa made her debut with the senior national team at the 2013 European Championship. She also played for Italy in the 2017 European Championship and was called up for the 2019 World Cup, where Italy reached the quarterfinals. In 2022, she participated in her third European Championship, and in 2023, she played a match in the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. In total, Bartoli has competed in five major tournaments with the Italian national team.
