Youth Sector players at the Bebe Vio Academy: sport, respect and inclusion
Community
— 11 hours agoNerazzurri Youth Sector players experienced an unforgettable day as they met Bebe Vio and young people from the Bebe Vio Academy at the Iseo Sports Centre.
In an initiative focused on sport and inclusion, the young athletes had the opportunity to try their hand at various disciplines: fencing, athletics, wheelchair basketball, football and sitting volleyball, discovering new ways to experience sport and engage with fundamental values such as respect, determination and the importance of teamwork.
The initiative was put on as part of the ‘Educational’ project, Inter's programme dedicated to the healthy development of young athletes. Its aim is to raise awareness among young people on important issues, going beyond pure technical training. With the Nerazzurri collaborating with Art4Sport Onlus and Nike, it is part of a journey that began in February 2023 and which includes weekly training sessions involving Inter’s Youth Sector teams and the young athletes from the Bebe Vio Academy. The Bebe Vio Academy brings together young people with and without disabilities twice a week to promote integration and spread the culture of sport for all, with a special focus on Paralympic disciplines.
This fantastic event with Bebe Vio, who has already been involved in several initiatives with the Club, is another step in consolidating a partnership that represents a model of inclusivity and participation. The youngsters had the opportunity to learn firsthand from inspiring stories and enjoy an educational experience that goes beyond football.
Inter, once again, has shown itself to be a promoter of initiatives that combine personal growth with inclusion, shaping not only athletes but also aware and responsible young people.
