A stoppage-time winner! Inter scored late in the day to beat Young Boys 1-0 on matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League league phase, meaning they now have seven points after three matches. It was an action-packed affair and a very complicated match for the Nerazzurri, who missed a penalty through Arnautovic and lost Carlos Augusto through injury.
Inter created plenty of chances, but there were also a few scares, especially when Monteiro hit the post for the hosts. In the end, Inzaghi’s men emerged victorious thanks to a 93rd-minute goal: Lautaro produced a backheel to find Dimarco, whose cross was converted by Thuram at the near post for three vital points.
