Nerazzurri U14s at the Jefferson Cup. U12s and U14s from the Inter Academy Toronto also present

An extraordinary educational experience, from both a sporting and personal perspective. The Nerazzurri U14s took part in the Jefferson Cup, one of the major youth tournaments in North American football that sees over 1700 sides participate from all over the USA. Representing the Nerazzurri colours were the U14s and U12s from the Inter Academy Toronto. The latter faced the Richmond Strikers, the organising club of the tournament and strategic partner of the Nerazzurri from whom the Inter Academy Strikers project was born.

Inter Academy was the Sporting Partner of the competition and the Nerazzurri were the only Club from European football to partner with the tournament, a testament to Inter's commitment to supporting youth football all over the world as well as the growing attractiveness of the brand in American territories.

During the competition, an important meeting was organised between the three Interisti delegations just before the derby between IA Toronto and Richmond Strikers, a game followed with much support from the Nerazzurri U14s. The tournament involved teams of the highest level from various reaches of the States, including other Academies of European sides like PSG and Villareal.

The Nerazzurri presence in California was the chance for many Interisti across the USA to meet and interact: during the tournament, exclusive Inter products were on sale. Various activities will be organised for the final weekend of the Jefferson Cup, 22 to 24 March.
