Inter suffered a painless defeat to Bayern Munich in the Bavarian capital. Their 4-0 win over Viktoria Plzen on matchday 5 had already secured the Nerazzurri's passage to the Champions League Round of 16 with a game to spare. Bayern finished top of the group on 18 points, with Inter in second on 10.
Simone Inzaghi's side will be drawn against one of six group winners: the draw is at 12:00 CET on Monday 7 November.

Group E Chelsea 13, Milan 10, Salzburg 6, Dinamo Zagreb 4 Chelsea sealed top spot in Group E with a game to spare.
Group F Real Madrid 13, Leipzig 12, Shakhtar Donetsk 6, Celtic 2 Real Madrid's 5-1 win at home to Celtic saw them clinch top spot ahead of RB Leipzig.
Group G Manchester City 14, Borussia Dortmund 9, Sevilla 5, Copenhagen 3 Manchester City won Group G, meaning they're one of Inter's possible opponents.
Group H Benfica 14, PSG 14, Juventus 3, Maccabi Haifa 3 The closest group in terms of the fight for top spot. In the end, it was Benfica who claimed first place after a 6-1 win away at Maccabi Haifa saw them win the group. They finished level on points with PSG, who beat Juve 2-1 in Turin. The two sides were level on points, head to head and goal difference. In the end, the final tiebreaker was away goals scored; the difference being just one goal, Joao Mario's goal to make it 6-1.
