In the last 20 seasons in Serie A, only two Nerazzurri defenders have been involved in more goals (11 - 5 goals and 6 assists) in a single season campaign: Maicon (17 in 2009/10) and Achraf Hakimi (15 in 2020/21) – 11 also for Yuto Nagatomo in 2013/14.

BASTONI ASSISTMAN

The ball for the first goal of Inter vs. Empoli started with Alessandro Bastoni who has provided an assist in each of his last three Serie A games; the last Inter defender before him to provide an assist in three consecutive league games was Federico Dimarco between August and September 2023 (three also in that case).

SANCHEZ SECOND HIGHEST CHILEAN GOALSCORER IN SERIE A

The two goals scored meant 3 points, and not only: thanks to the goals from Dimarco and Sanchez, Inter has become the second side to score in every single one of the first 30 games of a Serie A season, after Juventus in 2013/14. The Nerazzurri have also won at least 25 of 30 games played in a single season for only the second time in their history.

AUDERO IN GOAL FOR THE 19TH CLEAN SHEET THIS SEASON

Starting the game at San Siro, Audero kept our 19th clean sheet in the 30 games played in Serie A this season: the Nerazzurri have thus equalled their record of clean sheets collected by this point in a top-flight campaign: 19 in 30 in 1988/89. 14 goals conceded in 30 Serie A games is another defensive record: Inter has never conceded fewer goals at this point in a single season (14 in 1988/89).

200 IN SERIE A FOR LAUTARO

Amongst the other milestones reached, the 150 Nerazzurri games for Inzaghi, his 100th Inter win, Lautaro Martinez also registered his 200th game in Serie A with Inter to become the third Argentinian to reach this milestone with the Club in the era of three points for a win (from 1994/95), after Javier Zanetti (615) and Esteban Cambiasso (315).
