— Apr 28th 2024A 7-hour parade, a sea of fans from San Siro to Piazza Duomo: the story of a unique day
Milano like you've never seen it before. History has been made: on 28 April 2028, a sea of Nerazzurri descended on the city. They sang non-stop, waved flags and turned the sky Black and Blue. The bus carrying our Champions of Italy left San Siro at 16:00 and only arrived at Piazza Duomo seven hours later.
At the city's landmarks and on its street, from the Meazza to the heart of Milano, the fans practically pushed the bus with the players and staff down the road. They drove the team on, as they have all season long from the stands. A choir singing a ceaseless song for the Nerazzurri. Many hearts joined in one single passion.
From the Champions' bus came flags, banners, photos, smiles and voices. Lautaro draped in the flag of Argentina, Stefan in that of the Netherlands, Hakan that of Türkiye. Bastoni waved an 80s Inter flag, Dimarco never let go of the microphone and Barella was constantly in the front row. We're now left with unforgettable images, moments and photos.
This happy congregation reinvented the concept of a title parade. There was no break in this incredible, ceaseless celebration. Piazzale Lotto, Piazza Firenze, the Inter HQ, Piazza Repubblica, Via Turati. And then, Piazza Duomo, awash with tens of thousands of Interesti, who were awaiting their heroes. The photos and videos of the bus entering the square, overlooked by the famous Madonnina, will give you goosebumps. Goosebumps like those that everyone got when the players, from the terraces of the Duomo, led the Nerazzurri orchestra. One chant rang out loudest: siamo noi, i campioni dell'Italia siamo noi. It didn't stop for a second as the players and even the head coach spurred the fans on. The latter became the leader of this sea of amazing people.
The Interesti are the campioni d'Italia.
