Nerazzurri boss speaks from the Camp Nou on the eve of Barcelona vs. Inter, Matchday 4 in Group C of the Champions League

BARCELONA - Inter are in Barcelona, where on Wednesday at 21:00 CEST, they face the Blaugrana on Matchday 4 in Group C of the Champions League. The Nerazzurri, after training at Appiano, travelled to the Catalan city where Simone Inzaghi and Lautaro Martinez held press conferences on the eve of the game.

Here's what the Head Coach had to say:

Is this another opportunity to how that you are able to handle pressure of a game of such magnitude like this one? "Before the first game against them, I said that the game against Barcelona was a big opportunity and we took it brilliantly. This match is vital for going through to the knockout stages: we know it's gonna be a tough ask, we'll be faced with a united home support and an extraordinary opponent. We'll have to overcome some challenges, know how to suffer together, and put them under pressure with what we have prepared."

Will you be defensively set-up and will you be looking for a draw? How do you reflect on the refereeing of the first game? "The referee and VAR for the game at San Siro will be the same as tomorrow's so UEFA have obviously evaluated their performance positively. Regarding the match: we have our strengths, we'll give legs, determination and concentration."

The atmosphere at Barcelona is boiling hot: how are you feeling? "I'm really calm. When we play at home, away fans are always welcome. I said hell to the Barcelona President at San Siro, I've always found great respect from their side."

Do you maintain that your Inter side will have a defensive setup? "You all know my history at Inter and what type of football we have played: in the early months, we played an exciting brand of football. We went into the game at San Siro on the back of two defeats and we had the right attitude for what we had set out to do."

Who's going to play in centre-midfield? "The players don't know how we are going to set up yet, there are still some considerations to make. The two strikers Dzeko and Lautaro have had a run of games. Mkhitaryan and Calhanoglu could move up and play in behind. On the bench, we have Curatolo, 2004, and Carboni, 2005. Barcelona have a few out as well, it would have been nice to have had the full squad."

What game are you expecting? "We'll have most of the possession. Our midfield has a lot of quality, too, the strikers know how to keep hold of the ball. We'll have to keep the ball better than last week."

Do you expect a different Barcelona to the one last week at San Siro? "The credit goes to us for last week's match: in Munich and at Majorca, Barcelona played good football. They also did it against us at San Siro but we were good out of possession. It'll be a different match, in a proper football stadium who'll roar on their team. We'll have our fans: we'll try and get a result, we know that historically Italian teams struggle to do well here."

How do you prepare for a game like this, keeping the squad calm? "We have players who have played important finals, who have won trophies. We are a mature squad. We'll need to have a clarity of thought and be united and together. We'll have to suffer together."

There's a lot of pressure on Barcelona because they have to win at all costs... "We'll have to be aware of the details. We want to give our best in this group, we knew that we were placed into a tough group. We can do well, with ten points we should get through but it might not be enough. It's going to be a crucial game for the group."
