Simone Inzaghi's men have reached the end of their third week of training at the BPER Training Centre. The Nerazzurri have played three friendlies so far, winning all three. They beat Lugano 3-2 in their first outing, and this was followed by a 2-1 victory over Pergolettese and a 3-0 success against Las Palmas. Benjamin Pavard and Marcus Thuram, both of whom featured for France at Euro 2024, were welcomed back on Thursday 1 August. In the next few days, De Vrij, Dumfries, Lautaro and Carboni will all return.
OPPONENTS | PISA
The Tuscan side, who are coached by Filippo Inzaghi, play in Serie B. In the last two seasons in Italy's second tier, they finished 11th and 13th. During their pre-season camp in Bormio, Pisa played four friendlies, winning 6-0 against Altolario, 6-1 against Fucina, 1-0 against Sondrio and 3-0 against Pro Patria. The Tuscans will start their league campaign at home to Spezia on 17 August.
