The exclusive Panini Comics Variant Cover arrives, celebrating the 20th Scudetto of the Nerazzurri team

Blue Lock, a sports manga published in Italy by Panini Comics under the Planet Manga publishing line, returns to the spotlight with a special variant cover celebrating Inter’s 20th Scudetto. At the end of the championship, the collaboration between Inter and Blue Lock reached another significant milestone, following the key visual of the Japan tour last summer.

The famous characters of the manga, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, wear the iconic Nerazzurri team jersey used this season, in a visual from the comic recoloured for the occasion by Nicola Righi.

The story of Blue Lock is set in 2018. The elimination from the World Cup confirmed the limitations of the Japanese national team. Team spirit alone is not enough. To win, you must score goals. For this reason, the Japanese Football Association devised a programme to find promising young players and develop a striker who will lead Japan to World Cup victory. Leading this audacious project, with the declared goal of selecting the "most egoistical" striker, is coach Jinpachi Ego. This revolutionary strategy to "end Japan losing football" will test three hundred young talents who must survive the rigorous training in a special facility known as the "Blue Prison."
