Mkhitaryan: "Happy with the renewal; Inter have given me so much"

It's a renewal that comes after one-and-a-half seasons as a star player. Henrikh Mkhitaryan spoke to Inter TV after extending his stay at the Club until 2026:

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Inter are staying together; what does this renewal mean to you? "I'm really happy. Inter have given me so much in the past one-and-a-half years and I want to give even more. I hope to win a lot of trophies with this Club."

You arrived without fanfare but have quickly become a key member of this group: how proud are you to be a part of it? "I'm really proud because this is a great group. We're doing everything to reach our aims and win trophies."

You've played for some big clubs and have a lot of experience, but you've improved even more as a player here at Inter. How much have you grown in recent seasons? "I'm still improving and I won't stop. It's nice to learn each day by training and playing with my teammates."

You seem tireless out on the pitch, an example of dedication and sacrifice. What's your secret? "Working hard each day because I know these are the final years of my career. I want to do it all and win. I'm doing more than 100% and am giving everything."

What's been the best moment you've had with Inter? How much hunger is there to reach new milestones? "There've been so many great moments and I want more in the coming years."

You're a favourite of the fans: what does this affection mean to you? "It means that I'm giving a lot to the team. I want to make the Inter fans even more proud."
