The month of October was rich with success for the Nerazzurri, as Inter moved to first place in the championship thanks to three victories and a draw, beginning with the home win over Salernitana on 30 September.
Lautaro Martinez was the absolute star of this month: the Nerazzurro captain scored 6 goals, topping the goalscorer rankings. After his four goals against Salerntiana, Lautaro scored against Bologna and then again at home to Torino.
