“This is the kind of match that makes coaches happy. We dug in together without giving much away to Lazio and managed to come away with a win at a very difficult ground where everyone will find it tough. The entire team are doing well, and, even with many important players missing, we were excellent this evening. We only allowed Lazio to have one real chance throughout the game. We still have 22 league matches to play and need to carry on doing well, but we know that we’ve been excellent so far. We need to keep it up, all working in the same direction and playing as a team and group. Bisseck was fantastic; it was a real test for him because it wasn’t an easy match. He applies himself well and works very hard. Now, we need to look ahead: we have a Coppa Italia game in three days and need to prepare well for it because Bologna are in really good form. As regards the Champions League draw tomorrow, I think we’re going to get Manchester City. However, we know it’ll be a tough challenge whoever we have to face.”
