A one-sided game and a big scoreline: Inter ran out 6-1 winners over Bologna at San Siro on matchday 14 in Serie A. This is what Simone Inzaghi had to say after the game:
"We've done really well at San Siro. Tonight, we were up against a team that had won four in a row. After conceding, we kept our heads in the game and responded well. We've now won five of our last six matches; unfortunately, we lost in Turin. In the league, we're up there alongside the other teams apart from Napoli, who are doing excellently. Every team will slip up in the league, and this will make headlines, as is the case when Inter have a setback. Well done to those who are currently ahead of us. We need to carry on playing like we did tonight both at home and when we're on the road. I wasn't happy after the defeat to Juventus, but, in the past three days, the lads have worked with focus after our loss on Sunday, which really hurt us. Their concentration levels really were high, and I was confident that we'd turn things around as early as the first half. Every day, coaches need to make decisions. Let's not forget that we've played 18 games without Lukaku and 14 without Brozovic, both of whom are very important players for us. However, thanks to everyone's contribution, we've done brilliantly in the Champions League. As for the league, we've dropped points away from home, and this hurts. We need to focus on our path. Pressure after the defeat to Juventus? I've always had pressure on my shoulders; this has been the case during both my playing and coaching careers. I have an excellent relationship with the directors; we always talk to each other. I like the fact that the management team always try to analyse matters positively and very transparently both when we win and when we lose. They're direct and express themselves clearly if they need to tell you something."
