Lautaro: "An excellent performance, we work with the aim of improving"

MILAN – Lautaro Martinez produced a complete performance against Spezia. Indeed, El Toro played a crucial role in the Nerazzurri’s victory over the Ligurian side, scoring the opening goal in the first half. Following the final whistle, the Argentine spoke to Sky, DAZN and Inter TV: “We did really well against a team that press a lot. We’re happy; we’ve got six points to our name, and this is really important given that it’ll be a very long campaign.”

Lautaro’s goal came from Lukaku’s assist: “I’m happy that Romelu is back with us as we look to fight together. I said to him that we need to fight against everyone. He’s happy to be back, and we also feel the same. He’s a very useful player for this team and helps us a lot. However, the most important thing is for everybody to contribute with their own characteristics.

“I don’t know if we’re now stronger. We always try to improve and help one another. I work to lend my teammates a hand and want to continually learn from the Coach, staff and my teammates. When out on the pitch, I try to make the week’s work pay off,” concluded Lautaro.
