The Nerazzurri coach speaks ahead of Inter vs. Fiorentina, scheduled for Saturday at 18:00 CEST

APPIANO GENTILE - Inter resume their league campaign tomorrow, as they face Fiorentina at San Siro on Saturday 1 April at 18:00 CEST in matchday 28 of Serie A.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi offers his thoughts ahead of the game:

You lost few players after international duty: how was the break?

"We lost Calhanoglu, but with so many matches there is always this risk. Apart from Calhanoglu, there will be no Skriniar and probably no Dimarco either. However, we're thinking about tomorrow's game against Fiorentina: it's useless to look at what's happened."

How long will Calhanoglu be out for and how much will Inter miss him? What do you now expect from Brozovic?

"We know how important Calhanoglu is to our team: the same goes for Skriniar and Dimarco. We are monitoring them every day together with the medical staff, we will try to recover them as soon as possible because we need everyone with so many matches. However, we know that in the same role, we have Brozovic who has returned very well from the break and also Asllani: I will need everyone."

Fiorentina are one of the most in-form teams of the moment: they have seven wins in a row and in the last two months only Juventus and Bologna have avoided defeat. How do you look at this game?

"We want to put in a good performance in front of our crowd. We play against a fit and motivated team, who are doing well in Europe and in the Coppa Italia. Fiorentina are doing great things, especially in recent months: we'll need to be at our best."

In recent matches, despite creating a lot, Inter have struggled to score. The break, however, has seen Lukaku return to form: how important will the Belgian be in the final stretch?

"Of course, he will be very important, Romelu is back and he scored a few goals for his national team, we are happy. Clearly for what we have created in the last few games we haven't scored enough, but I am confident because we have been working on this. In addition, we also have Dzeko who has returned from his national team, Correa is coming back and Lautaro returned yesterday, so I am very confident.

The 4-2-3-1 has made the Viola more compact: the trequartista is an important role in this formation. Will the midfield be the key in the game?

"Absolutely, we know that we are up against a very strong team, with good players all over the pitch. We will need the fans' support and to put in 110%, as we know the strength of our opponent".

Bastoni and Gosens are back with the group, are they fully fit?

"Yes, in the last two days they have joined in the full session. Now we have two more training sessions and we'll see if we can get them all in the best shape possible, then we'll make a decision."
