It was another big evening of international Nerazzurri action in EURO 2024 qualifying. Five Inter players featured in Italy's win over Malta: Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Matteo Darmian, Federico Dimarco and Davide Frattesi. The Azzurri ran out 4-0 winners at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari, with goals from Bonaventura, Berardi, who scored a brace including an assist from Barella for his first goal, and Frattesi, who rounded off the night with a pin-point effort. Italy are currently second in Group C with ten points, level with Ukraine, though Spalletti's men have a game in hand.
Bastoni and Darmian played for the whole game. Dimarco started and played for 78 minutes. Barella played for 64 minutes before being brought off for Frattesi.
