MILANO – Inter Women are set to go on an international tour when the squad jets off to the Americas in August, a further demonstration of the club’s commitment to developing and promoting women’s football on the global stage.
The tour will kick off on Sunday 7 August when the travelling party flies to the United States, with a week of Training Camp scheduled to take place in Texas and in New York. In line with the strategies for boosting the brand’s international development, the initiatives will contribute to generating greater exposure of the Nerazzurri colours in North America.
In addition to the trainings, Rita Guarino’s charges will take on Club Deportivo Guadalajara in a friendly: the match will be played on Wednesday 10 August at Brownsville Sports Park in Texas.
The return trip to Italy is planned for Sunday 14 August, just under two weeks before the start of the 2022/23 season. It is set to be a historic endeavour for women’s football as a whole, with the Italian game recognised as a professional activity as of this year.
This tour showcases the ever-growing value of the Inter brand across a country of strategic importance to the Club such as the United States, and it allows Inter to exchange with the American and Latin fan base, which has always been so passionate about the Club’s colours.
