The 2022/23 season was characterised by skill, passion and a lot of excitement. Some great moments came from the fantastic performances of our goalkeepers who outdid themselves with extraordinary saves: the time has come for the Nerazzurri fans to choose their favourite save!
We have collected the best saves of the season from the First Team, Inter Women and Primavera team. The best of the season will be voted for through a knockout tournament with 16 saves.
THE RULES
Voting will begin on Monday 26 June, when it will be possible to vote for the best saves on the left side of the draw. On the following day, Tuesday 27, voting will be active for all the ties on the right side. Wednesday will be the quarter-finals, Thursday the semi-finals and Friday the final. On Saturday 1 July, the most stunning save of the 2022/23 season will be revealed.
It will be possible to vote using the poll on both Instagram Stories and Twitter. As for Facebook, it will be enough to leave a comment or reaction. To define the winner of each challenge, the cross-channel votes will be added up.
THE SIXTEEN SAVES
We collected the best saves made by the First Team, Women's First Team and Primavera goalkeepers to fight it out to be the best.
On the left-hand side of the draw we start immediately with the tie between Onana's extraordinary double save against Porto at San Siro and Handanovic's spectacular save against Torino. The second match between Onana's reaction save from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Durante's incredible save against Sampdoria. In the third round of 16 match the two saves, both against Juventus, of the number 24 and Handanovic face off. In the next challenge, Botis's save against Sassuolo will be up against Durante's outstanding save in the derby. On the right side of the draw the first match is between Cordaz's super save against Torino and Onana's save with his feet against Sampdoria. In the sixth round of 16 match there is the game between the number 24's instinctive save against Benfica and Durante's stop against Juventus. In the next match, it is Onana's miraculous reaction save in the match against Porto against Durante's penalty save against AC Milan. In the last match of the round of 16, Calligaris' wonderful saves against Bologna and Handanovic's in the Coppa Italia final against Fiorentina battle it out.
Sixteen beautiful parades, let the challenge begin: all that remains is to choose the winner!
