Inter put on a show: 3 - 1 against Parma

Inter were too much for Parma. The nerazzurri’s quality shone, after they built and repeatedly created chances. 3-1, but the match was a one-sided affair with many big moments, a disallowed goal, two penalties overturned by VAR, a shot hitting the crossbar, a series of big saves by Suzuki, and a host of other chances. The goalscorers were Federico Dimarco, who did well to break the deadlock just before half time, Nicolò Barella, who pounced onto a great ball from Mkhitaryan, and Marcos Thuram, who was in the right place at the right time to tap in Bisseck’s header.

Parma were never really a threat, but scored in the latter stages, almost by chance with an own goal from Darmian. The win means Inter are on 31 points after 14 matches and prepares the nerazzurri in the best way possible for the Champions League away trip to Leverkusen on Tuesday.
