— Dec 8th 2023In Saturday’s match against Udinese, Inzaghi’s squad will take to the pitch with the film series’ logo in place of the Paramount+ logo. The shirts worn by the Nerazzurri will be up for auction and donated to children in some of Milan’s hospitals
Simone Inzaghi’s team will be wearing a special kit for their match against Udinese this weekend, taking to the pitch in a limited edition shirt that celebrates the Transformers film series.
Taking its name from the Hasbro toy range, the film series, which includes live action films and an animated series with both human and Transformer characters, will soon be starring on Paramount+. From 8 December, Paramount+ subscribers will have access to the latest chapter, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, as well as the first six films – Transformers, Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers 3, Transformers 4 – Age of Extinction, Transformers – The Last Knight, Bumblebee – and the animated series Transformers: Earthspark, which are already available on the site.
Directed by Steven Caple Jr and starring Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Cullen and Ron Perlman, the new chapter launches the viewer into an around-the-world adventure where they will rejoin the Autobots alongside a new generation of Transformers, the Maximals, who will join forces against the Decepticons in the eternal battle for earth.
The San Siro will have two special guests for the occasion: two Transformers will be at the match on the sidelines. The two characters from the saga will also be present at the Inter Women’s match against Sampdoria at the Arena Civica, which takes place on the same day, Saturday 9 December.
A limited number of shirts featuring the new Transformers logo will be available to buy in the Galleria Passarella and San Siro Inter Stores and online at store.inter.it from today, 6 December 2023.
The shirt will also be part of an even more important cause. Paramount+ and Inter will donate some of the jerseys to children admitted to paediatric wards across various hospitals in Milan.
Fans will be able to participate in an auction on ebay to get hold of a selection of shirts worn by the Nerazzurri during the match. All of the money from the auction will be donated to charity.
