Inter pegged back late on: 1 - 1 against Napoli

Inter were held to a 1-1 draw by Napoli on matchday 29 in Serie A. At San Siro, the Nerazzurri took a 43rd-minute lead through Matteo Darmian, who finished off a low Bastoni cross.

In general, the match lacked tempo and Inter seemed to be managing it comfortably. However, Napoli scored an equaliser in the closing stages as Juan Jesus headed home from a corner (81’).

In the end, Inter were forced to settle for their first draw of 2024, with the Nerazzurri now 14 points ahead of second-place AC Milan after 29 matches. It’s now time for the international break, after which Inzaghi’s side will return to action at home to Empoli on 1 April.
