The clash at San Siro will decide who progresses to the Coppa Italia final, scheduled to take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on 24 May 2023.
As of this season, the away goals rule in the event of a draw has been abolished in the Coppa Italia. This means that any draw will take the match into extra time.
