Inter defeated 2 - 0 by Al Ittihad in a friendly match

Inter suffered a defeat in their penultimate pre-season friendly. At Monza’s U-Power Stadium, Al Ittihad triumphed 2-0 thanks to a Diaby double. Despite controlling the game and coming close to scoring on several occasions, the Nerazzurri were undone by the French striker’s pace, as he took advantage of the few opportunities allowed by Inter’s defence.

Sommer, De Vrij, Thuram, and Pavard returned to the pitch for the Nerazzurri, with Pavard making his first appearance of the pre-season. Inter will wrap up their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday before their Serie A opener.
