MILANO – Against the backdrop of the Scuola Militare Teuliè, the 28th edition of the Premio Gentleman, the annual event dedicated to Fair Play, had Inter at its centre winning various awards. In attendance were CEO Corporate, Alessandro Antonello, and CEO of Sport, Giuseppe Marotta, who took home the CONI Lombardia Gentleman Award, created by the Chairmen of CONI Lombardia and the Premio Gentleman with the aim of rewarding Directors, athletes, and organisations in Lombardy that have distinguished themselves in the sporting industry for their social commitments.

I believe that one of the fundamental jobs of a director is co-ordinating two types of team, the one on the pitch where the leader is the coach, and the one off the pitch, together they make the idea of a squad. ”

Three players from the first team took part in the Awards Ceremony for the 2022/23 season: Federico Dimarco received the "Gentleman Inter" award.
“It has had a great effect being born wearing this shirt, then I earned it over the course of my career, I played for many teams before returning permanently to Inter, thinking about what I have done in the past until now I’m really proud to wear this shirt. The derby? We all know what the Milano derby means, it will certainly be a good match. The victory with the National team? It was a much needed win, playing at San Siro was beautiful thing for me, we are happy that we went out there and won against Ukraine after the draw against North Macedonia. ”

Lautaro Martinez took home the "Best Goal" award for the incredible goal that sealed the win over AC Milan in the Italian Super Cup on 18 January 2023. The Nerazzurri captain thanked those present in a video message:
“Thank you to all the fans who voted for my goal in the Super Cup against AC Milan, it's the second time that I've won this award and I hope to go on that way: a big hug and forza Inter!”

Kristjan Asllani collected the "Giovane Rivelazione" award for young talents.
“It gives me great pleasure to receive this award. The call from Inter? I said yes straight away because I am an Inter fan, for me it is an honour to wear this shirt.”

Also present on the evening, which ended with a flurry of Nerazzurri awards, were Vice President Javier Zanetti and the CEO Corporate Alessandro Antonello.
